Q
How to maintenance a power bank to get 100% capacity and a long cycle life?
A
- Use power bank regularly
- Avoid leaving fully discharged power bank for longer than 6months
- fully charged power bank can be left unused for 2years, then is recommended to recharge the power bank to 100%.
- if the GREED LED slowly blinks when the power bank is fully charged, that means the internal cell calibration process is in progress, that's normal, and is recommended to leave the power bank connected to the power source longer (up to 5hours) until GREEN LED will stay solid. If you cannot recharge the power bank for that length of time, that's not a problem you can still use the power bank but not full capacity is available until the power bank calibration process will be complete.
- please avoid temperatures higher than 65°C,
- do not place the power bank in the engine bay section
- do not expose the power bank the direct sunlight, direct sunlight can overheat the power bank and reduce capacity, especially in the summertime.
- this product is fully protected against low temperature (below 0°C) and using the battery in a cold environment will not cause any damages at all.

Q
Where is the best place to install and secure a power bank?
A
Place the power bank is the coldest place in the car, best under car seats or car boot. Avoid placing the power bank in the direct sunlight, due to the high temperature inside the car cabin, the power bank can be overheated and internal battery cells degrade quickly.

Q
Is it safe to use a power bank in a cold environment?
A
yes that's safe, the power bank will provide output power even if the temperature is below 0°C, but recharging the power bank in these conditions is not possible until the temperature will be higher (above 1°C)

Q
Why power bank will not take charging when the temp is below 0°C?
A
Charging battery cells below freezing point can damage the internal cell structure, battery cell electrodes are start covered by a metallic thin layer, which reduces cell capacity, and as a consequence caused an electric short circuit when that happen battery start creating internal gases and internal pressure rais to about 2.5Mpa when that happen battery cell pressure valve will open to avoid explosion.
At this point, the power bank is completely useless, due to the above we have decided to fit a protection circuit that prevents recharging the power bank when the temperature is below freezing point. In this way power bank is safer, battery cells will not degrade.
