Is there anything that I need to aware of during installation?
|

1) if the power bank will be placed under the car seat, please make sure that the car seat rails will not cut or damage wires during the seat adjustment.
2) please make sure that all cables are secured well and will not touch any sharp surfaces.
3) during the installation and hardwire process, please make sure that the cables will not interfere with car safety systems like Air-Bags.
4) please arrange all cables solid and secured against any movement.
5) If you install a power bank via hardwire cable, please make sure that the car engine is switched off, and power is not provided to the fuse you are planning to use.
6) place the power bank is the coldest place in the car, best under car seats or car boot.
7) do not place the power bank in the engine bay section.
8) avoid wet and moisture.

Can I cut the hardwire charge cable to make it shorter?

Yes, you can, it is recommended to cut it and make it as short as possible.

Which fuse is recommended to use for connecting hardwire cable via piggyback fuse holder.

Please use low-priority fuses which can provide more than 15A current, and which do not cause any danger when it will blow. The best fuses which you can use are (must be switched with ignition):
- like a Car Accessory Fuse / Cigar lighter fuse.
- heating seats,
- heating steering wheel,
- rear window wiper,
- rear window heater,
In some types of cars, you can find empty fuse holders in the fuse box for the car features which the car hasn't got, like
- Massage seat fuse
- Rear seats heating fuse
Do not use car safety features such as airbags, headlights, front windscreen wipers, fuel pomp, etc...
